Let's play the beginner level. One team places tiles 1 - 12 face down and randomly draws four of them.
The team then turns the four tiles face up and places them in the 2 x 2 matrix. Suppose the numbers are 1, 3, 5, and 6.
By adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing, the team solves the number puzzle.
SECAN is an innovative number puzzle game designed to challenge your mental arithmetic and combinatorical skills. Add, subtract, multiply, or divide two adjacent number tiles to solve the puzzle. Play one-on-one or in teams of two or more in this fast-paced game of number strategy.
We recommend playing with two teams. Each team should consist of 1 - 3 players. One person from either team should be the official time and score keeper.
Remove all game tiles from the box and place them face up (numbers showing) on the playing surface. Separate each set of color-coded game tiles so that each team has tiles numbered 1 to 24. Teams will play three 5-minute rounds. The team with the fewest remaining or extra number tiles wins.
Each game includes 4 sets of color-coded game tiles numbered 1 – 24.
Players choose beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. Based on the level, they randomly draw a set of tiles and arrange them in a matrix. When all teams are ready, the first of three 5-minute rounds begins. Players add, subtract, multiply, or divide numbers to solve the puzzle.
The team with the best two out of three rounds wins the game!
